ENTRY FEE: $300.00 due by March 7, 2025

REGISTRATION: The deadline for entry is January 31, 2025, or earlier if capacity is reached. Registration for this tournament is available on Advanced Event Systems. 

ACCEPTANCE PROCESS: Teams will be accepted based on the date of registration and registration payment.

Please make sure to submit the following:

• Register through AES
• Submit Online Payment to secure your spot immediately. A 2.8% credit card processing fee applies. Checks for $300.00/team, can also be mailed to Starz Volleyball, 1000 Mill Rd. Rockford, IL 61108
• Submit Roster through AES by February 24, 2025. Changes to your roster can be made via AES, or upon request until  check-in has been completed.

ONLINE CHECK-IN:  Will begin on February 25, 2025 through AES. Once you have performed online check in you will not be able to make any changes to your roster. To make changes please contact info@forestcityclassic.com 

FORMAT: All matches will be best of 3 games to 25 with the deciding game, if necessary, to 15. There is no cap.

SCHEDULES:  Will be posted by late Tuesday, February 25, 2025

OFFICIALS:   The tournament will supply officials for all courts and matches.

TIE-BREAKERS: There will not be any tie-breaking games played.  In the case of a tie, the teams will be ranked by head-to-head results. In the case of a 3-way tie: set percentage, and then, if necessary, point percentage.

UPDATES & CHANGES: All tournament updates and changes will be communicated to Club Directors and Coaches through emails sent via AES.  Please ensure you have added all necessary email addresses to AES in order to stay up to date on all tournament information.   

TEAM AWARDS: Awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams.

SPECTATOR ADMISSIONS:  
Weekend General Admission - Valid for both Saturday & Sunday
Single Day Admission - Valid for either Saturday or Sunday 
Kids Under 10, Players & Coaches are Free

ATHLETIC TRAINERS: An athletic trainer will be onsite at all times and available to tape and assist with minor injuries and serve as a first responder to more serious injuries.  Athletes must provide tape and pre-wrap for any pre-existing needs.  The tournament only provides tape and pre-wrap for emergency purposes.

FACILITY RULES: 

• NO TOLERANCE policy for misbehavior by players/teams and spectators in the venues
• Ball Handling is allowed on the volleyball courts only
• Outside food is not allowed in the facility. Only water and sports drinks may be brought inside the playing areas.
• Teams must provide their own practice balls.
• Violation of these policies or any other general misbehaviors may result in IMMEDIATE dismissal from the facility for the remainder of the day.

REFUNDS:

• We must receive an email requesting a refund, no later than, January 13, 2025, to be considered for a refund.
• In the event of a Force Majeure ( "Act of God" ) cancellation, all paid teams will be issued a full refund within 30 days of the scheduled Tournament date.
• If Government and/or Sanctioning Association rules and regulation changes affect the number of teams allowed to participate, those teams dropped - determined solely by the Event, will be entitled to a full refund within 30 days of the scheduled Tournament date.
