TRYOUT EVALUATIONS: Register above to attend our upcoming tryouts. 

Our traditional tryouts will be on September 15 for grade school & November 3, for high school. 

We will be offering spots in our program to athletes after the tryout, but actual team rosters will not be formed until two weeks after regular practices have started. We recommend athletes attend the early tryouts, but athletes who can't make the early tryout are welcome to come to the traditional tryout. 

Also this year, we are offering an opportunity to play on a National team for an extended season. A tryout will be held for those teams towards the end of our regular season. Those teams will compete in the AAU nationals in Florida in June, and or other national level tournaments. Any Starz player who had a higher than 90% attendance during the regular season, will be eligible to try out for those teams. We likely will only field one team per age division.

  • After the tryout evaluation, parents will be sent an email, letting them know if their daughter, or son, is being offered a spot in our Club. 
  • Registration instructions will be included in that email.

Primary Season Information

  • Two 2-Hour Practices Each Week
  • Less Athletes Per Team, Usually Nine Athletes

Season start & end dates

  • Girls Season starts week of November 4
  • 11's end with Rockford event March 9
  • 12's, 14's & 16's end with Wisconsin Dells April 6 event
  • 13's, 15's & 17's end with Wisconsin Dells April 13 event
  • Boys Season starts week of November 4 & ends by early April
  • Season Registration Fees: Includes two 2-hour practices per week, regular season events, through March 9 for 11's, through April 6 for 12's, 14's & 16's, through April 13 for 13's, 15's & 17-18's and through early April for the boys. 
  • Also included are USAV & AAU Memberships when required for events. Season fees are $798.00 plus custom sublimated uniform if needed for 10U & 11U girls, $898.00 plus custom sublimated uniform if needed for 12U girls, and $998.00 plus custom sublimated uniform if needed for 13U-18U girls and 12U-15U boys. Payment plans, with up to five to eight monthly payments are available. The number of payments offered, is determined by the date of the tryout. Early tryouts, offer more months to complete the fees. 
  • Custom sublimated uniforms $115.00 if needed, includes jersey & spandex (girls) or shorts (boys). Players with a uniform from the 2023-24 season, do not need a new uniform. Please check to make sure the uniform fits & is in good condition prior to registering.
  • A 2.8% credit card fee, plus $1.00 transaction fee is added to all credit card payments. To avoid this fee, we have extended our office hours & will accept full payment by check, money order, or cash in our office, but must still be submitted within 24-hours of roster posting.
  • ONLINE PLAYER REGISTRATION:
    • Register and pay the fees in full
    • OR set up an online payment plan of up to eight monthly payments, determined by the date the athlete is being registered

    • Set up a credit card payment plan with payment dates/amounts different than the online payment plans.
  • OFFICE REGISTRATION:
    • Checks, money order, cash or credit cards are accepted.
    • Office Hours Sunday, until 9:00 PM and Monday, 10:00 AM-9:15 PM

Refund Policy

Prior to the start of each season, we commit player registration fees to fund our operating budget, which includes, but is not limited to practice facility rent, facility maintenance, event registration fees, staff wages, insurance and other administrative expenditures. Because of this, refunds for player registration fees are not issued after an athlete is registered for a season, unless we are unable to field the team. Payment for uniform and practice reversible will be refunded, if the uniform and/or practice reversible is unused and returned to our office within seven days of the purchase.
